The Ontario Equestrian Federation is committed to promoting safe practices while horseback riding and while handling horses. Instrumental in the establishment of safety standards and the passage of legislation (Bill 12 - The Horse Riding Safety Act, 2001) that requires the use of approved helmets by youth while on horseback, the OEF strives to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
