ONTARIO TRAIL GUIDE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM UPDATING POLICY

Please be aware that in order to keep yourself as an “active” Ontario Trail Guide you must have the following: 

• Current OEF membership, renewed annually
• Current First aid certificate, with a copy on file at the OEF Office
• Submit proof that you have guided a minimum of 10 one-hour trail rides every three years (verified by your Mentor/employer).

For example, if your updating period runs from January 01, 2007 to December 31, 2009, then you would need to submit the minimum 10 hours of Trail Riding to the OEF office to maintain your "active" status by December 31, 2009.
